It's been a long time since I posted anything here.... Well, the reason which kept me back from is the arrival of a new member in our family ,Miss I :) our little princess.
She is now 3 months old, way too small to try out dishes prepared by her Amma.
What re-kindled my passion to post a new recipe here? Sight of fresh spring onions :) Here is the recipe for a simple stir fry with spring onions !
Ingredients
1. Spring Onion with along with stem - 8-10 (chop finely)
2. Coconut Grated - 1 cup
3. Garlic Cloves - 4 (crushed)
4. Green Chilly - 3 (crushed)
5. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon.
6. Cumin Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
7. Salt to taste.
8. Oil - 1 tea spoon
9. Mustard seeds
How to Make?
1. Heat Oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds and let it splatter.
2. Add chopped onion with stem, crushed garlic and green chilly.
3. Close the kadai and let it get half-cooked.
4. Now, add grated coconut, salt, turmeric and cumin powder. Close the lid and let it get cooked.
Enjoy this with piping hot rice :)
