This is something that most of us know. However, I just wanted to include it in my blog since I love this a lot! Groundnut frying is a common sight at my kitchen on most of the weekends. This is the only cooking my husband ever does :) We fry enough groundnuts for a week and store it in air tight containers. This forms an excellent nutritious snack and makes us happy while back from work.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- Raw groundnut
- Salt
How to Make?
- Spread out ground nuts on a tray.
- Sprinkle salt water on them. Then sprinkle some more salt on it.
- Keep this for 10-15 minutes.
- Now heat a pan (we don't use oil/ghee).
- Once the pan is hot enough, add ground nuts and toss till it turns dark brown and starts cracking.
- Spread out the ground nuts on a tray and let it cool down.
Note:
Try not to put too much of salt. If not sure of the amount, try a batch and test it out. The crispiness of the groundnut makes up for less amount of salt and it will be a healthier snack!
