Parippu Vada - Deep Fried Lentil Balls

Parippu Vada or Masala Vada is the one who was destined to travel all the way through our taste buds to hungry tummies on this weekend! Couple of friends promised to visit us today and I decided to surprise them with these.

During my school days, after school hours I used to go to mom's or dad's office and wait for them to start for home. A visit to their office cafeteria was always on my agenda. The Cafe 'uncles' used to serve hot tea and parippu vada. Vada used to come in huge trays and you can pick as many as you want... Oh! those days...
So here is the recipe to make Parippu Vada and I am sure each one of you would be having some colorful memories around it :)
